The search for the perfect boiled egg is now over. This recipe has been tested by many folks and found to be the best cooked and easiest peel-able eggs on the planet.

Materials
- 1 Ea egg
Instructions
- Place eggs in pot of cold water with a dash of salt so that about 1" of water covers the eggs.
- Bring to boil and boil 5 minutes.
- Turn off heat and leave pot on burner for 20 minutes.
- Remove pot from heat and drain water.
- Add cold water filling the pot.
- Add 4 cups or lots of ice to pot and leave for 20 minutes.
- Place eggs on egg plate. Refrigerate.
Notes
The time to boil varies widely. I use a timer to keep checking since a watched pot never boils.
