Madelyn and Ava Wurst Salad

  • tbsp EVOO
  • tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • lb bologna any beef sausage will do. I use Oscar meyer beef bologna
  • 1 lb Swiss cheese sliced. I use Emmenthaler. Any thick swiss will do.
  • 1 lrge sweet onion a large vedalia onion will work
  • 1 lrge dill pickle I use Bubbies
  • tsp ground black pepper


  • Layer bologna slices and Swiss slices with dried parsley sprinkled on each slice to prevent sticking
  • slice entire stack in 1/8 inch slices
  • add slices to large bowl
  • slice onion into 1/4 round slices or smaller. add to bowl.
  • slice pickle lengthwise in thin slices. add to bowl.
  • add EVOO and vinegar and pepper to taste. Could use 2 tbsp of dijon instead if desired.
  • Toss all ingrediants unril coated and mixed. Chill for 1 hour and serve with pretezel
