Honey Garlic Pork Meatballs Sauce inspired by Diana Rattray

Honey and garlic make a sweet and tasty sauce for these homemade pork meatballs.

Materials

Sauce

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • ¼ c honey
  • 1 ½ tbsp Maggi
  • ¼ c Tomato Sauce
  • 2 tbsp onion flakes
  • tsp dry mustard
  • tsp allspice
  • tsp ground ginger

Instructions

Honey sauce

  • In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter.
    When the butter is foamy, add the 3 cloves of pressed garlic and cook, stirring, for about 1 minute.
  • Tomato Sauce, honey and Maggi and remaining ingredients/spices. Bring to a boil;
    reduce heat and simmer for about 10 minutes.
  • Combine the sauce in a serving dish with the meatballs and serve immediately as an appetizer, or serve with a side vegetable for a meal. Enjoy.
